During the first days of the new summer term,
principal Jakub and grade 1 students engaged in the introduction part
of the high-tech ZSA curriculum.
在开学的第一周里，
我们的Jakub校长与ZSA一年级的同学们
开展了一场非常高科技的校长课堂。
Each student was given
a Mbot robotic set to assmeble
and learn the basics of control.
首先，
Jakub校长给每个孩子
都分发了一套机器人组件。
孩子们一下子进入了兴奋状态啦！
Over the next 1 hour
every child learned to follow
the set-up instructions and put each of
the parts in the correct spot.
在这一节别开生面的课程里，
孩子们将会听从Jakub校长的指引，
一步步地将机器人零件拼接起来。
All the students were
very focused and commited to the task,
with some even trying to guess
the following steps,
without looking at the instructions.
所有的孩子们全程投入，
在Jakub校长给出指引前，
有些孩子甚至能猜出下一步要怎样做。
There were also
quite a few instances, on
which the students who finished first
were helping their collagues
by providing them with support and guidance.
期间，我们也能看到，
一些首先完成步骤的孩子们
在帮助那些稍微落后的同学。

During this activity
the students learned about
the basic components of the Mbot robots
and their functions.
It gave them a strong foundation
for the following classes
that are going to be focused on learning
about orientation in space,
basic controls and directions.
在这一节课里，
孩子们学习了机器人Mbot的
一些基本组成结构和功能。
为他们以后更深入的学习
基础操控，空间感和方向感
奠定了坚实的基础。
Our grade 1 students already
look forward to the following lessons
and opportunity to challenge the future.
